We support projects in the following areas:

Craft:
•    Production, training, transfer of technical skills as well as archiving of traditional textile crafts
•    Embroidery, weaving, sewing and tailoring, textile printing, dyeing
•    Cultivation and production of cotton and silk
•    Teaching of basic skills for commercial activities and financial planning

Social issues/ Women’s rights
•    Combatting human trafficking and support for female victims of domestic violence and prostitution
•    Support for discriminated women and girls, i.e., from ethnic or religious minorities or from remote areas.
•    Projects on equal rights and gender discrimination

Art & Culture
•    Projects in preforming arts, such as theatre, film and dance, with a focus on the advancement of women, culture, tradition and textiles.

Supported countries:

We support projects across the following structurally disadvantaged Asian countries:
Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Myanmar, Nepal and India

We are not supporting:

• Projects not adhering to our eligibility criteria
• Projects in Africa and the Americas

If your project fulfils our criteria, please send us a short description of your organisation/person and the outline of your project. Applications should be one to two pages in the German or English language.

The foundation meets twice a year to review project applications. If we decide to follow up on your application, we will invite you to submit a more detailed description of your project.
