Fondation LOOM –
Equal rights and opportunities for women and girls
Fondation LOOM initiates and supports projects for women and girls in low- and middle-income countries, particularly in South-East Asia. These projects aim to empower women and girls, fostering their independence, so that they can play an active role in shaping all aspects of life within their communities.
Our mission is to empower women and girls to assert their right to personal safety and equal participation in social, civic, economic and cultural life. To this end, we support women and girls to develop their skills, knowledge, and self-confidence, enabling them to make a difference.
In doing so, we focus on preserving and developing textile cultural heritage, as this can contribute significantly to cultural identity and generate income for women and girls.

COLLABORATION
Fondation LOOM supports selected third-party organisations and projects and also initiates projects itself. We build personal relationships with our grantees and aim to have a direct impact on the ground. We are willing and able to take risks, and we encourage the creation of networks and the pooling of local resources. It is of paramount importance to us that the funding is used in accordance with our specific objectives and funding criteria.
